Security Tips
Our commitment is to promote personal safety for every person at all times. In today’s world, safety should not be taken for granted!
When we say ‘We truly care about your security’, we believe in what we say. These words are coming from the hearts of all of us who are here for you. We want to act on your behalf for your family's life safety and security for your most valuable assets! Please do your part by being prepared so we can all be safe and happy with our loved ones.
Burglary Prevention Tips:
- Keep porches and entrances well lit. Check bulbs regularly. Consider installing automatic lights that react to any movement.
- Trim shrubs back to avoid giving burglars cover. Trim tree brunches so that there’s no access to upper windows and attic and so that lower branches don’t offer hiding places.
- Keep daily routines confidential.
- Do not put valuables where they are visible from a window or door.
- Do not leave the doors unlocked when you’re working in the yard.
- Be aware that wrong numbers or telephone surveys may be used by burglars to “case” your home.
- Do not assume that a female stranger at the door presents no threat. Burglars sometimes work in a female-male team.
Fire Prevention Tips:
- Don't overload your electrical circuits. This is one of the foremost causes of fires.
- If you live in an apartment, you should know the locations of the stairway and fire exits outside of your apartment building. Never use the elevator during a fire. It could break down or bring you right to the source of the fire. Always use the stairs in a fire emergency.
- At least once a year replace batteries in all smoke detectors. If an alarm “chirps,” the battery is low, replace battery right away.
- Test your system regularly, at least every month.
- Since the majority of fatal fires happen at night, it is essential to have working smoke detectors throughout your home to awaken you in a fire emergency. Our trained technicians will go out to clean and test your smoke detectors, just call to schedule the service.
- All smoke detectors should be replaced after 10 years of operation. Ten years is a smoke alarm's useful lifetime and for continued, reliable safety and protection, smoke alarms need to be replaced.
